Winter Fuel For That SLOW Release!
Winter life can be certainly not numbing, so it’s important that we keep ourselves running! Especially if you’re a New Yorker like myself in which case we usually walk or run everywhere! Regardless of where you are a greasy plate of bacon and eggs as delicious as it may taste, certainly isn’t conducive for the blood pumping through our veins. Neither a cup of coffee where the caffeine high doesn’t last and eventually comes a crash.
Pictures above is my favorite winter fuel bowl coupled by a delicious matcha tea latte for extra kick. Not only are they densely packed with nutrition and antioxidants, they both digest with that “slow release” keeping me satisfied longer!
Winter Fuel Bowl Steps:
-Pack of unsweetened Oatmeal.
-1 scoop of Garden of Life Protein
-piece of 80% dark chocolate
-table spoon of chia seeds OR hemp seeds
MIX!
-top with raspberries and blue berries for antioxidants and vitamins C immunity!
Dairy Free Matcha Latte :
-Froth in a separate container, Nutpod’s thick’ n creamy dairy free French vanilla creamer, and top 1/2 a mug of hot Matcha tea!
It’s preferred that you don’t use sweetener of any kind, but if you must I highly recommend pure 100% grade A maple syrup or raw honey.
